VEM Electronic catalogue version 10 released
Online version of the VEM motor selection program VEM e.KAT has now reached version no 10. The catalogue is available in 15 languages.
Use of mobile technology based on Windows, Android, iOS or Linux allows using of the program anywhere. The selection program is an excellent tool for choosing and equipping motors. Technical documentation in form of written technical specifications, 2D/3D CAD drawings, manuals and certificates are automatically available with motor selection. Price is also included.
VEM e.KAT can be used without signing in as Guest. Creating user-ID allows saving of the motor types selected; so the once created motors with accessories are ready to be re-used again and again.
The recommended browsers are Mozilla Firefox and Chrome.
Important settings of the configuration tool remain accessible at all times via a special menu bar. Multiple selections are also possible for many technical parameters. Documents can be downloaded separately or packed into a single ZIP file, and it is furthermore possible to create a project list with different motor types for forwarding to the VEM sales department. In future, the online catalogue will include also high-voltage machines of the VEM standard series with squirrel-cage and slipring rotor. Here, too, customers can make a preliminary selection, but should then nevertheless submit a corresponding enquiry.
