Savo-Karjalan Sähkökone is the Fighter of the Year
Each year, we highlight one of our partners who has distinguished themselves in a particular way. The Fighter of the Year 2024 was announced in Munich during our network’s traditional meeting.
Savo-Karjalan Sähkökone values product knowledge
The title was awarded to Savo-Karjalan Sähkökone, whose performance continues to improve year after year. Product knowledge is a crucial factor when selling technical expertise to industry. Equally important is listening to the customer and understanding the specific characteristics of different sectors. These capabilities enable them to propose solutions that bring added value to customers.
Savo-Karjalan Sähkökone operates in Kuopio and Joensuu. In Kuopio, customers are served by Tero Koivisto and Jyrki Kukkonen, while Sauli Koljonen runs the Joensuu branch.

You have been chosen as the Fighter of the Year 2024. What does this recognition mean to you?
Tero Koivisto: This is a great recognition. We have worked consistently for a long time, and it is rewarding to see that our development is also noticed within the network.
What do you believe is the foundation of your success?
Jyrki Kukkonen: Product knowledge is absolutely essential when working with industry. By knowing motors and other solutions thoroughly, we can build the right package for each customer.
Sauli Koljonen: Equally important is listening to the customer. We need to understand the specific features of different sectors in order to propose solutions that add value and genuinely make the customer’s work easier.
How do you feel moving forward from here?
Jyrki Kukkonen: With a positive mindset. This recognition gives us extra energy and motivation to continue in the same direction.
Sauli Koljonen: There is still plenty of work to do, and we want to keep improving. Customer needs are constantly evolving, and it is our task to keep up and provide solutions that will remain valuable far into the future.
