Fight against bacterias begins already at the factory
Tramec has introduced a new innovative GHA series of aluminum gearboxes, which consists in special patented anti-corrosion treatment of aluminum alloys that make the gearboxes 100% suitable for medical, food and marine environments. In practice, this innovative solution represents a much cheaper technical solution to the corresponding stainless steel gearboxes. Golden Hard Anodizing surface treatment is available at the moment for Tramec’s aluminium XC worm and TF bevel helical gear boxes.
The usual way to beat very demanding environmental challenges, is to use gears made of stainless steel. The same hardness is gained with aluminium gears with GHA surface treament. The important difference is the low price of GHA aluminium gears.
